Commands

Truth or Dare Bot's commands are built into Discord with Slash Commands.
Type "/" on your keyboard to see them!

Command Issues

Commands not showing up could be caused by multiple different issues. Be sure to read and try all the steps below as the fix is likely here.

If you are an admin and YOU can't see commands:

If you have more than 50 bots in your server, commands may not show up for the bot. This is something on Discord's end, and we can't fix it.
The bot may not be added with the commands scope. Try re-inviting it with this link: Invite Bot

If a non-admin can't see commands:

If you aren't an admin, tell an admin to follow the steps below:
Make sure the everyone or member role has the Use Application Commands permission in the role settings and channel permissions.
If that doesn't help, make sure you didn't prevent access for a role they have or the channel in Server Settings > Integrations > Truth or Dare.

If you are on a phone or tablet:

If you see "Interaction Failed", update your app in the app store/play store.
If you are using Discord on the browser of a mobile device (phone/tablet), they will not show up. You will need to install the app.

- Gives a random question that has to be answered truthfully.

- Gives a dare that has to be completed.

Options:

rating? - The maturity level of the topics the question can relate to.

/tod

- Gives a random truth or dare question.

Options:

rating? - The maturity level of the topics the question can relate to.

/wyr

- Gives a random Would You Rather question to be answered.

Options:

rating? - The maturity level of the topics the question can relate to.

/nhie

- Gives a random Never Have I Ever question to be answered.

/paranoia

- Gives a paranoia question or sends one to a user.

target? - The user to send a paranoia question to.

- Gives a random question from any category (truth, dare, paranoia, wyr, nhie).

- Get a list of commands.

- Remove a server from your premium slots.

- List all the custom questions added so far.

Options:

type? - The type of question to list.

rating? - The rating of questions to list.

page? - The page number of questions of list.

/questions add

- Adds a new custom question for this server.

rating - The rating of question to add.

question - The question to add.

- Removes a custom question from this server.

id - The ID of the question to remove (get the ID using /customquestion list).

- View a custom question from this server.

id - The id of the question to view (get the ID using /questions list).

- Update a custom question from this server.

id - The id of the question to update (get the ID using /customquestion list).

- View premium server settings.

frequency - How often questions are shown as a percent chance (0 for never, 100 for always).
